I am a Google certified UX Designer. Additionally, I bring with me years of design, leadership, and instructional experience that gives me a significant advantage as a UX or Instructional Design professional.

This case study follows my work from concept to high-fidelity prototype in designing an app to help make movie theater going a more attractive and profitable experience. Two of the features added to this app is the ability to pre-order food to be ready when the patron arrives and paperless ticketing based on QR codes displayed on the mobile phone. This work was done as part of the Google UX Design certificate program.

This case study follows my work from concept to high-fidelity prototypes of a mobile and a responsive website designed to make it crazy-easy to share unwanted household items with others in the user’s community. As part of this process, I designed a search system that categorizes items based on where and how they are used rather than by what they are called, since different people call the same items by different names. I was pleased that users found my use-based search system intuitive and useful. This work was done as part of the Google UX Design certificate program. See the iShare case study

This case study follows my work in designing a user registration flow for a food bank. One of my research insights was that people volunteer for different reasons — including court-mandated community service. The registration process needs to take into account the different ways people register and the different needs they have in registration, scheduling, and documentation. This work was done as part of the Google UX Design certificate program. See the User Registration Flow case study.
